Hello and welcome to my website, my name is Lisa Fletcher and I am a qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist with a BSc Hons in Therapeutic Counselling (First Class) and a DipHE in Therapeutic Counselling gained at Leeds Beckett University.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy). As a member of the BACP I am committed to working within their ethical framework with and also committed to ongoing CPD (Continuing Professional Development, which means I will be continuously learning and keeping up to date with new therapeutic approaches.
As a practitioner I take an integrative approach to therapy, meaning I draw upon a range of therapeutic skills and techniques including: Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Existential, Mindfulness, CBT and Creative Therapy. The Therapeutic approach taken with each individual is always client-led meaning every person is afforded choice and autonomy throughout their therapeutic journey.
Having experience working with young adults within an educational setting, with people of age 16 upwards within two charitable organisations and within my own private practice, I have supported clients struggling with and experiencing a wide range of difficulties.
