I offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment where each client can explore and express their thoughts and feelings in a space where their experiences are truly heard and listened to. I fully understand how putting trust in another person can sometimes be a daunting task, and my aim is to create the conditions necessary for trust to be established, and a strong therapeutic alliance to be formed.
Throughout our lives it is likely that we will encounter difficulties and moments that are tough to face by ourselves. When we are faced with hardship it can provoke thoughts and feelings which can leave us feeling distressed, alone and confused, and it is in these times where seeking out support from a professional can be useful.
I believe that we each have the capacity to overcome the difficulties that arise in our lives, however, at times we can become ‘stuck’ in emotions and can struggle to process our current or past situations. Having a safe space to share what it is that is weighing us down or keeping us trapped in circling thoughts, can not only be beneficial therapeutically, but can lead to self-understanding, self-awareness and personal growth.
Which approach do I utilise?
As an Integrative Therapist I draw upon several therapeutic approaches including, Person-Centred, Psychoanalysis, CBT, Creative Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy – as such I am able to offer each individual client a bespoke therapeutic experience and one which is tailored to their specific needs.
Am I the right Therapist for you?
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is paramount to creating positive client outcomes, and with this in mind I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation. During this time any questions can be answered, and we are both able to make an informed choice as to whether working together is the right decision for you.
